Thousands of unemployed teachers and education workers gathered at Karunamoyee in Salt Lake, West Bengal, demanding the return of their jobs through the SSC Bhawan campaign.

As tensions escalated, protesters clashed with police after attempts were made to barricade their progress towards the SSC Bhawan.The demonstrators managed to break through police barriers and reached the SSC building, where they staged a sit-in strike.

The confrontation highlights the growing frustration among unemployed educators seeking employment opportunities.
